There is no company more corrupt and money grubbing then this one…. and that is saying alot. Introduced in Captain America #180 (1974) by Steve Englehart and Sal Buscema, The Roxxon company was found in the early 2oth century and would go onto becoming one of the Marvel Universe’s mega-corporation. Starting out as an oil supplier, they would begin buying up other industries, like energy, automobile, retail and fast food restaurant. They also helped fund SHIELD but were also using their wealth to fund the likes of Hydra and AIM. The main reason they have never been brought to court, besides them using their wealth to bribe and blackmail officials, is because they would always use an scapegoat. They are also responsible for creating many villains and a few heroes as well as using both as hired guns. None the less, they are a constant torn in the heroes side.
