She is truly the Thunderbolts greatest success story. Introduced in Marvel Two-In-One #54 by Mark Gruenwald, Ralph Macchio and John Byrne, Melissa Gold was originally a villain known as Screaming Mimi (give a guess what her powers were), who would usually team up with Angar the Screamer. She eventually joined the Feminson and Graplers before becoming part of Baron Zemo’s Masters of Evil. He eventually upgraded her power to create solid objects with her voice. When the Avengers were thought to have been killed by Onslaught, she was one of the Masters to change their names and costumes, creating a false heroic team of the Thunderbolts, in order to earn the public trust and then used this for their own gain. She herself created the identity of Songbird.
As the team started to help more and more people, Songbird started enjoying the heroic lifestyle the most. She persuaded other members to join her and then broke away from Zemo, with the help of Hawkeye. She remained with the team for most of her career since, taken up the leadership role on more then one occasion. She later became Luke Cage’s second in command of the Thunderbolt working as a Warden for the female side of the Raft. She joined up with SHIELD as well and was place in Sunspot’s Avengers team as a spy before becoming a double agent. She went back to the Thunderbolts under Winter Soldier’s command.
Songbird was one of the most popular character requests for a while. She was supposed to get a figure in her Luke Cage’s Thunderbolts costume in the originally planned Jubilee wave (before the Infinity line began) but was the only left of that wave not to be released. She was later part of the 2016 Fan Poll choice which she won by a landslide. She came out in the first Wave of the Avengers Infinity Wave and was the first of that sub-line to be revealed.

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends Avengers: Infinity War Thanos Wave Songbird
- Background:
- When she went from Screaming Mimi to Songbird, she designed a costume that would look more heroic. She has since rarely changed this design, with some artist drawing it slightly different.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- This was one of the most sort after requests for years. It is absolutely needed for a Thunderbolt collection as well as an Avengers and Masters of Evil collections. Plus that Sound bird effect looks epic.
- Does it need a remake?:
- No.

Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not fact. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
