When the Hand made Punisher their new leader and had their god take over his body, Daredevil reformed the Hand’s ancient enemies to bring him down. Introduced in Daredevil (Vol. 7) #4 (2022) by Chip Zdarsky, the Fist were originally formed centuries ago to rival the Hand but failed to bring down the evil ninja cult. When Punisher became their leader, Daredevil and his new wife, Elektra, then also going by Daredevil, reformed the team to fight off Punisher and his minions. They recruited allies, including Stick, Foggy Nelson, Cole North, Doc Sasquatch, Robert Goldman, and enemies like Speed Demon, Stilt-Man, Stegron the Dinosaur Man, Fancy Dan, Bullet, Wrecker, Agony (Shin), numerous unnamed ninjas and mercenaries. However, despite their best efforts and striking a devastating blow to the Hand with the “death” of Punisher, the Fist would fall and most of their members were arrested by Spider-man and the Avengers. It later turned out that this was all a ploy by the Beast’s sister, the Wild, to bring down her brother and gain advantage in their war.
