When Blackheart wanted to bring hell to Earth, these four heroes came together to stop him. Introduced in Venom (Vol. 2) #13 (2013) by Rick Remender and Tony Moore, Blackheart open a portal to hell in order to bring it to Earth but only managed to bring it to Las Vegas. At the time, Agent Venom was on the run from the law, with Red Hulk chasing him to bring him into justice. X-23 was searching for people that had stole some of her blood and Ghost Rider (Jones) sense Blackheart and went to stop him. All four happened upon each other about to fight Blackheart and decided to work together to defeat Blackheart. Blackheart would create the Antithetis, the polar opposite of the four and they would battle the four. With the aid of Johnny Blaze, Flash gave Red Hulk the Venom symbiote and Alejendra gave him the Spirit of Vengeance, resulting in a fusion of the three. After they defeated Blackheart, the symbiote bonded with Flash again and Steve Rogers offered him a place in the Secret Avengers, Alejendra bond with the Spirit again, Red Hulk returned to the Avengers and X-23 returned to the Uncanny X-force.
