Hey my fellow Plastic Addicts. The second season of Daredevil: Born again is nearly upon us and….. I can’t watch it until Thursday. I’m heading up to Dublin on Tuesday to go to a Jeff Dunham show and staying over night there and after we come home the next day, I have to go to bed early because I’m working early the next day. So to get my final DD fix of this month, I decided to end it with an Ideal Wave based around the horn head.

I already a wave before that was pretty much getting some much needed updates and characters we needed. But for this wave I decided to expand it more with characters that would be considered part of the Marvel Knight’s brand. And again, my god was the BAF hard to decide. But I think I got a nice balance of new costumes, remakes and new characters. Let me know what you think below.

Theme of the wave: Marvel Knights

As for why I picked each (As always remember if I don’t mention it, they will obviously get a new head):

1. Daredevil (Murdock) – Shadowland – New Costume – for the main character, Daredevil, I decided to go with his Shadowland costume because it looks like Matt will be getting a Black suit in this series. Now Hasbro thought they had done this suit but that was the All-New, All-Different suit. So they need to do this highly requested version of the character. This of course would use his Daredevil body with a new head.
2. Luke Cage – Mayor – New Costume – for the next character, since I had his wife in the last ideal wave, I thought it would be nice to have Luke Cage in this wave. And since the series is focused on Kingpin as Mayor of New York, I thought it would be nice to have Luke Cage in his Mayor costume. This would use the Tombstone body.
3. Colleen Wing – White Body suit – New/Female – Now for a new character that is shockingly hasn’t been made yet. I already did a Missing Legends for her but if there is one costume that we all want for her it is the White Body suit. I know that isn’t the one isn’t the body suit but I wanted an image of them together. This would use the Black Widow body.
4. Misty Knight – Any– Remake – For the next character, I thought it would be nice if we got a remake of Misty Knight on a new modern body, especially since I was including Colleen in this wave. I’m not too picky one what version of Misty should get made but as long as it’s one of her signature red suits I would be happy.
5. Purple Man (Killgrave) – Suited – Now for a character that we have had before but not as a regular release, Purple man. Now I know why they didn’t release him as a regular figure given what he is known for, but most people outside the comics don’t know this. This would use the MCU Matt Murdock body.
6. Killer Shrike – New – Now for some new character and villains, starting with Killer Shrike. This is an obscure character that has fought DD a few times. But he has been requested by many people for years. This would use the Vulcan body mold with a new cape and new gauntlets.
7. Shroud- New – Next we have someone that has been both a hero and more recently a villain, particularly with his quite frankly stalking of Julia Carpenter. Not only that but he was important to the WCA but never truly joined them. This would use the standard male body.
8. BAF – Gargoyle – New – As always with DD waves, it was always hard to decide the BAF for this wave. So I looked at the teams he has been part of and one of the were the Defenders. No. Not those ones. The true Defenders. So I looked at the members from that team and spotted Gargoyle. He is just a character that would NEVER work or sell unless he was a BAF. This of course would require a whole new sculpt.

And with that we end our Daredevil Month. This was a fun month and helped me knock off quite a bit of my list. Looking at what is next for the MCU/Marvel releases, it looks like JULY will be Spider-man month so look forward to that when it arrives. The next post on this site however will be on Thursday.
