After several major disasters, Wonder man said enough was enough. Introduced in New Avengers Annual (Vol. 2) #1 (2011) by Gabriele Dell’otto and Brian Michael Bendis, after the fall of Osborn and HAMMER, Cap approached Wonder Man to rejoin the Avengers. However, Simon was having none of it. He blamed the Avengers for everything that has happened recently, Disassembled, House of M, Civil War, Dark Reign etc, and believed that they should no longer exist. Thus, he decided to bring them down once and for all. Thus, he gathered other heroes who felt the same and formed the Revengers. These members included D-Man, Anti-Venom (Brock), Virtue, Captain Ultra, Goliath (Tom), Atlas, Devil Slayer and Century. They attacked and successfully defeated the New Avengers but when they tried to attack Avengers Tower to attack the main team, they were defeated with the combine might of both teams.
