He’s a guy who never misses. Except when he is up against Daredevil, Spider-man, Captain America……..(he should really change his name). Introduced Daredevil #131 (1976) by Marv Wolfman and Bob Brown, Bullseye would quickly become one of Daredevil’s greatest enemies, second only to Kingpin. They first fought when one of DD girlfriend’s father was targeted for assassination. Upon being defeated, he would return to plague DD over the years. At one point in an effort to regain his place as Kingpin chief assassin, he tracked down and fought Elektra. He would then kill her with her own Sai. The battle with Daredevil after left Bullseye crippled when fell and broke his spine, which was later “cured” when he got an adamantium spine.

Later still, during another one of Mysterio plans to drive DD crazy, he had Bullseye killed DD’s girlfriend Karen Page. During the Civil War he was forced to joined the Thunderbolts and hunt unregistered heroes. He was later part of Norman Osborns’ Dark Avengers as the team’s Hawkeye. He was later thought killed during the Shadowland story by Daredevil, possessed by the Hand’s Beast demon, only to return as a fully paralysed mastermind. He later some how recovered and restarted his war with Daredevil.

Figure wise, for years there has been only one ML from Toybiz, which even Hasbro has admitted was too hard to replaced.  However Hasbro has recent shown off there version and it is on par, if not greater, with the Toybiz one.

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends Marvel Knights Man-Thing Wave Bullseye

  • Background:
    • Except for the times he went costume-less (cause of the Matt Damon’s DD movie) or as Hawkeye, Bullseye has rarely changed his costume over the years. Like many classic costumes, this have been drawn differently by different artists over the years, like with the collar growing and shrinking or added pouches and straps.
  • Why you need it for your collection?:
    • Like I previously state for years there has been only one version of this from Toybiz. The main reason I recommend the Hasbro version is cause it’s the most recent figure, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t look fantastic with tons of accessories and the interchangeable head shown above. It all depends on whether you want the BAF Galactus piece or the Man-Thing BAF piece. He is needed for Daredevil, Spider-man, Avengers and Thunderbolts mainly but could fit into most collections like Deadpool.
  • Does it need a remake?:
    • No. Just being released.

Dark Hawkeye

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends Odin Wave Marvel Now Hawkeye

  • Background:
    • When Norman Osborn took over SHIELD and turned it into HAMMER, he gathered together a number of villains and promoted them as a new Avengers team by using old Avengers identities like Ms. Marvel and Spider-man. Needing a Hawkeye, he choose Bullseye, to which drove Clint Barton to attack the team only to be rescued by a team of female Avengers.
  • Why you need it for your collection?:
    • Okay, yeah I know this isn’t exactly like the image shown but many people have been using this as part of their Dark Avengers display. This is a great stand-in for that display but more then likely you’ll be getting it for your Hawkeye display.
  • Does it need a remake?:
    • Doubt they would bother to remake this into a more Dark Hawkeye figure so no.

Solo Series

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Pulse Exclusive Marvel Legends Daredevil: Man without Fear Box set – Bullseyes with Daredevil and Elektra

  • Background:
    • In 2017, Bullseye would be given a solo series, where he would recieve a slight upgrade to his classic suit. The torso was given a blue coloring but the rest is pretty much the same.
  • Why do you need it for your collection?
    • If you are getting the box set or missed the older version, you may want to get this. Otherwise skip.
  • Does it need a remake?
    • No.

Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not fact. Please let me know if I have missed anything.

None at the moment

Alternates: Daredevils | Hawkeyes | Ronins
