Well…. not so superior now are you? Introduced in Ultimate X-Men #1 (2000) by Mark Millar and Adam Kubert, this team was formed after Xavier and Magneto had a falling out on how mutants should interact with the rest of humanity, with Xavier wanting peace between the two race and Magneto wanting mutant kind to rule over them. After crippling Xavier, Magneto gathered fellow mutants to follow him and formed the Brotherhood of Mutant Supremacy with the Savage Land being their base of operation. Their first attack was against the Pentagon, which cause the Brotherhood to be declared a terrorist organization. Magneto would send Wolverine to assassinate Xavier but he betrayed the Brotherhood when he fell in love with Jean Grey. However, this caused Cyclops to leave the X-men and join the Brotherhood.

When the US government located their base and sent an Army of Sentinels to attack the base. Magneto instead used his powers to reprogram the Sentinel and used them to attack the US. Believing this was a step too far for them, Cyclops asked Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver‘s help. Magneto was defeated by the X-men when Quicksilver removed Magneto’s helmet and Xavier used his powers to shut down Magneto’s brain. The Brotherhood would continue under the twin’s leadership and would even aid the X-men escaping Weapon X with Rogue and Juggernaut joining them after. Most of the members were killed during Ultimatum with Sabretooth and Mystique being the last members alive.
