Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. We are just over four weeks away from the MCU latest TV series (and possibly final TV series beyond DD), Vision Quest. So in anticipation for the series, we are launching Vision Month, where we look at various characters and team based around the android Avengers. But like I always like to do, as to give you a preview of what is coming up, we have an Ideal wave, a fantasy Comic wave based around Vision. For this wave, I used many character that are believed to appear in the series as well as some outliners. There is also some that will get a Missing Legends in the next few weeks, though I won’t say who. I also this will be a retro style wave as picking a baf that wasn’t some form of Ultron was hard.

Theme of the Wave: Vision’s Family

As for why I picked each of them. (As always, if it’s using the same body, just assume that the head is new.) Anything with a link will bring you to the character or Missing Legends page.

1. Vision (White): for the Main character in this wave we have White Vision. Yeah I know what you are going to say. “Again”? Well, it is the version that he will be starting with in the series so I had to include it. Plus the last one was on the *shudder* Bucky Cap mold. So they need to update it again. This will mostly be a repaint of the Void wave version with a new cape, maybe a new chest to incorporate the cape.
2. Vision (Young Avengers): For the second version of the Vision we actually have a brand new character, Jonas, the Young Avengers Vision. Yes this is a new character (it was the combination of Iron Lad and the Vision Program) but to people that don’t know comics, this would just be another Vision for their collection. This would use the teenage mold.
3. Viv Vision: Let’s finish our Vision select with Vision’s daughter Viv. This has been a highly sought after character due to the Visions mini-series and the Champions team, which she is the last of the original members bar Teen Cyclops that we need. This would require a whole new mold for her.
4. Speed: Next up we have a character that seems to be the main objective in the series and the last member of the original Young Avengers. (Yes. we do need a remake of all of them but keep up with me). Speed would use the Amazing Fantasy mold.
5. Jocasta: For the second lady of the wave and a character going to be introduce properly in the series (Hinted at earlier) Jocasta. I know we got a version of her before but that was way back in 2020. So they can update it now with a pinless double jointed limbed body, maybe the new standard female mold with a slightly resculpted chest. Maybe also get a chrome silver paint.
6. Paladin: Now for a villain/hero that will make his debut in this series. (As of writing this, I have realise I haven’t included a villian beyond the BAF but ah well). We did have a version of Paladin back in the Sasquatch wave (2018) so we need to get an update. But instead of making it the exact same design, I thought it would be fun to do his original design. While the upper arms and thighs can be reuse but the rest needs to be brand new.
