He is this universe’s Sabretooth’s little buddy. Introduced in X-Men: Alpha #1 (1995) by Scott Lobdell, Mark Waid, Roger Cruz and Steve Epting, this version of Wild Child was selected to be one of Apocalypse’s forces but either due to his unwillingess to obey or his feral nature, he was locked in a cage. His’ cellmate just happened to be Sabretooth. Due to both of their feral natures, they fought each other until Sabretooth came out on top as the alpha male. The two escaped and eventually joining the X-men with Wild Child rarely living Sabretooth’s side and Sabretooth keeping Wild Child from attacking people by keeping him on a change.

Wild Child’s story is pretty much the same as Sabretooth since they were never too far apart after. They fought against Apocalypse and was around to find out how this time line was created. He was also one of the X-men that went to rescue Magneto and the assault on Apocalypse’s Citadel. After the world was returned to normal but this timeline was saved by Jean Grey, Sabretooth was recruited into the Exiles and Wild Child disappeared. He was later saved by an alternate Quentin Quire from some mutant haters and helped Quire rescue the Exile, which he joined soon after reuniting with Sabretooth. When the Uncanny X-Force of the Prime universe journeyed this the AOA universe to gain a death seed to stop Archangel, Wild Child and Sabretooth were there to help. They also went to the Prime universe to stop Archangel (now Apocalypse) but was killed in action.

Ever since Toybiz made a figure to the AOA Sabretooth in their Walmart Exclusive Giant-man wave, People have been asking for his little partner, just like they did for their 5″ line. When Hasbro announced a wave of AOA, one of the second batch of figures they announced alongside Sunfire was this guy (chains and all, with a Sabretooth more or less confirmed for a future wave.)

  • In the AOA universe Wild Child design is basically a much smaller and skinnier version of Sabretooth. He has low intelligence, acting more like a dog then an actual person.
• Why you need it for your collection?:
  • If you are building an AOA shelf, want to add another member of the Exiles or have the Toybiz Sabretooth, then you could get this. Since we haven’t gotten a Prime version yet, you can also used this version as well. If none of these apply to you, then skip.
