Not all versions of Victor Creed are homicidal maniacs. Introduced in X-Men: Alpha #1 (1995) by Scott Lobdell, Mark Waid, Roger Cruz and Steve Epting, Sabretooth was recruited by Apocalypse into his horsemen but would betray the tyrant. He was sent to prison where he met a fought Wild Child. The pair would escape the prison and would join the X-men. One of his first mission saw him met and free Blink, who he took under his wing and became a father figure for her. He would remain on the X-men, becoming one of the team most prominent members. He would be with the team when they universe was believed destroyed.

He survived but became unhinged in time. He was rescued and made the leader of a Exile version of Weapon X. After a few more missions, he was reunited with Blink and would eventually join her on the Exiles with Wild Child. He would eventually even start a relationship with 616 Psylocke. He would eventually return to his own world and helped the X-men in defeating Weapon Omega (Logan). Afterward, He would lose his powers  and be sent to prison for his crime during the time he was part of Apocalypse’s army. His son Graydon visited him in prison but his resentment led to him attacking and killing his father.

As one of the most popular alternate version of Sabretooth, this version has gotten a few versions over the years. For ML, he received a figure from Toybiz as part of the Walmart Exclusive Giant Man series. He wouldn’t receive an updated version until Hasbro announced he would be part of a second Age of Apocalypse wave.

Recommend Figure:  Hasbro Marvel Legends X-men Age of Apocalypse Colossus Wave Sabretooth

  • Background:
    • In this universe, many of the X-men wore suit with the collars. For Sabretooth, he were this costume that was similar to his partner of Wild Child. He would keep Wild Child on a leash by using a chain to connect them.
  • Why you need it for your collection?:
    • If you are building a AOA shelf after buying all the AOA product, then you will need this for it as he was one of the main characters. It will also be needed if you got the Wild Child and/or the Blink figure. He is also needed for a Exiles collection.
  • Does it need a remake?:
    • No.
