When Mjolnir started acting up, Thor went to Throg for help. Introduced in Thor (Vol. 6) #18 (2021) by Donny Cates, Pasqual Ferry and Robert Quinn, Mjolnir had started disobeying Thor, he had no choice but to leave it in under the watch of the Avengers. However, it went missing and he started to believe it was stolen. He approached Throg to investigate it and recover the hammer, since Thor was busy ruling Asgard. Throg said he would do it but not alone. He summoned his allies to form the Pet Avengers (The 616 version at least). The original team consisted of Throg, Odin’s ravens Munin and Hugin, Dr. Strange’s ghost dog Bats, X-men’s Lockheed and the Inhuman’s Lockjaw. Later members included Speedball’s Hairball, Falcon’s Redwing, Aunt May’s Ms. Lion and Ka-Zar’s Zabu.
