He is only member of the Exiles to remain through out it’s run. Introduced in Exiles #1 (2001) by Judd Winick and Mike McKone, this version of Morph was not only a member of the X-men but of the New Mutants and Avengers, where he was considered one of the universes greatest heroes. He was soon drafted into the Exiles by the Timebroker, where Blink (AOA) believed him to be her version, but that was not true. He soon struck up a close relationship with a female Sunfire and wanted more but accepted her choice of being a lesbian. He became distraught when she was killed.

He eventually encountered and was taken over by a version of Proteus. Proteus traveled the multiverse until he was capture and brainwashed into believing he was Morph. The true Morph eventually returned and began working with Proteus, until Proteus was absorbed by Crystal Palace to save Morph. Morph then took over the role of Timebroker and assembled a new team of Exiles. He eventually encountered a new team of Exiles assembled by the Unseen (Nick Fury of the Prime Universe) to defeat the Time-Eater. He wound up in a Wild West universe with Nocturne but was taken over by an evil Professor X. The Exiles defeated and killed Xavier, but before he died, he retaliated against Morph, who died in Blink’s arms.

Out of all the Exiles members, with the exception of Blink and maybe Nocturne, Morph has been the most requested character of the team since the Toybiz days. While Hasbro are releasing a figure for him, he is more the AOA version then this version. However, when he was first shown in the comics he wore something extremely similar to his AOA counterpart, which lead to Blink thinking he was the same Morph she knows.

First Costume

Recommend Figure:  Hasbro Marvel Legends X-men: Age of Apocalypse wave Morph

  • Background:
    • When he originally appeared on the team, he wore a costume extremely similar to his AOA counterpart. This led Blink to believe they were one and the same. He wore this for a while until he changed into his more iconic costume.
  • Why you need it for your collection?:
    • For Exiles fans, this is an absolute most. Out of all the characters in the Exiles comics, this one is the only one to remain throughout most of the teams run. If you have no interest in The Exiles, then this can be skipped. (Unless you are doing a AOA shelf as well.)
  • Does it need a remake?:
    • No.

Needs

Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not facts. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
