God. The amount of shampoo this woman uses must be outrageous. Okay, old jokes aside, Medusa was introduced in Fantastic Four #36 (1965) by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. In it, she was an amnesic woman who the Wizard found to join his Frightful Four and fought against the F4. Even though she was the first Inhuman to be introduced in comics, she never knew of this until after fighting the F4 and other heroes like Spider-man a number of times, when she was reunited with her family after they tracked her down. It was learnt then that she was the childhood lover and wife of the King of the Inhumans, Black Bolt. During childhood, she developed a relationship with Black Bolt, where they developed a way of communicating via body language.
After returning to Atilan and becoming trapped, she became Black Bolt voice to the people and helped him allow the Inhumans to escape. She mostly remained with the Inhumans but joined other teams like the Fantastic 4, after Reed and Sue left the team to raise their son and later when the whole team left to travel different dimensions. She was also a founding member of the A-force, where she bickered with She-hulk over who should be leader. When the Terrigen cloud was released on Earth and created more Inhumans, Medusa took to gather and training them.
It took quite a while for any Inhumans to get figure, with the exception of Black Bolt. Medusa manage to get two both of which were exclusives and either showing a classic and modern version.
Have
Classic

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Walgreens Exclusive Marvel Legends Medusa
- Background:
- This is the costume that Medusa has worn the most throughout her life and to which most costumes are based on. Like most classic costumes of other heroes (IE Classic Spider-man), it has been drawn differently by different artists.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- Of the 2 Medusa figures, this is the one I recommend due to the simple fact that she can frigging stand! Other then that it all depends one which version of her you want. If you want a classic version then this is the one to get.
- Does it need a remake?:
- No.
Illuminati

Recommend Figure: Hasbro SDCC 2014 Marvel Legends Thanos Imperative Box set Medusa (with Black Bolt, Starlord, Blastaar and Gladiator)
- Background:
- This is really just a modern update of the classic design without the mask, something that she stop wearing for a while. It was worn after the War of Kings, where she and the Inhumans returned to Earth and she had to help the Illuminati to protect the Infinity Gems from the Hood.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- I say if you are getting this then get the whole set as it comes with some pretty good figure you mightn’t have yet. Also if you want a more modern version that this is the one.
- Does it need a remake?:
- No.
Needs
Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not fact. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
