If his girlfriend didn’t leave him for a richer man, Arthur Parks might have used his research for good. Introduced in Avengers #34 (1966) by Stan Lee, Art Simek and Don Heck, The Living Laser’s first time in comics saw him falling in love with the Wasp, who he kidnapped. She was rescued by the Avengers, which sent Laser to prison and medical help. He escaped with the help of Mandarin in an attempt of revenge against the Avengers. He then join Batroc’s Brigade and then two Lethal Legions, one led by Grim Reaper and another led by Count Nefaria, who betrayed the team and stole their powers.
He became his more energy form when he exploded during a battle with Iron Man. He soon reformed himself as a being of pure light, which saw him battle Iron Man, WCA and War Machine. He would go onto to join Hood’s Ganga before getting an upgrade by Ezekiel Stane and the Mandarin he has since returned to Hood’s gang.
Laser has actually being one of Iron Man most frequent foe, both in the comics and in animated shows. As such, he has been requested by fans for a while and Hasbro has put him in their Avengers End Game wave.

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends Avengers: End Game Thanos Wave – Living Laser
- Background:
- When Mandarin return and teamed up with Ezekiel Stane and his daughter Justine Hammer, they went about trying to discredit Iron Man. One of the thing they did was to upgrade many of Iron Man’s rogue gallery, including Living Laser.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- While it’s not the version some people want, it is a version of the Laser that some people have requested. If you are an Iron Man fan, this is one to get for his rogue gallery. If you are an Avengers fan then you can get this as well as he has been part of many of the evil team’s they have battled.
- Does it need a remake?:
- No.
