Nate Grey wanted to save the world but he went about it the wrong way. Introduced in Uncanny X-Men (Vol. 5) #3 (2018) by Matthew Rosenberg, Kelly Thompson, Ed Brisson and  Pere Pérez, Nate was fearful that the prime universe was heading towards his home universe of the Age of Apocalypse. So in an effort to prevent this, he brainwashed Magneto, Blob, Angel, and Omega Red into becoming his Horsemen of Salvation, being turn into Peace, Bounty, Life and Wellness respectively. They would battle with the X-men a few times as they tried to capture Legion. During the battles, Angel was hurt and his role as Life was replaced by Storm. Even though the X-men tried their hardest to defeat them and the Horsemen broke free from Nate’s control, Nate used his remaining powers to warp the world into a new reality, the Age of X. The team would disband after this.
