Just cause you are the son of a world conqueror, doesn’t mean you should piss off Magneto. Introduced in X-Men: Alpha #1 (1994) by Scott Lobdell, Mark Waid, Roger Cruz and Steve Epting, Nemesis is the supposed son of Apocalypse and one of his horsemen. He killed Scarlet Witch when he invaded the X-men base and destroyed most of Japan. Magneto would track him down and destroyed his physical body, but he was saved by Dark Beast and placed in special armor. He took on the name Holocaust. He would continue to work for his father becoming a threat to the X-men and other freedom fighters. When they X-men invaded Apocalypse base, he attacked Magneto but was stopped by Nate Grey. During the fighting he was impaled with the M’Krann cyrstal which caused him to be sent to the Prime Universe.

He was placed in suspended animation in space due to the crystal but was found by the Acolytes and taken to Avalon. He awoke and began rampaging in the asteroid where he battled Exodus. The fight caused Avalon to be destroyed and crash land on Earth. He would then begin working with Sebastian Shaw, who tasked him to capture the X-force. He would later begin working for Onslaught who sent him to capture Nate Grey but failed. After Onslaught defeat, he went missing before showing up as a minion of Lord Hyperion and fought and later joined the Exiles. He would later return to his home universe where he was eventually killed by Lord Hyperion.

Holocaust is one of the original characters created for the Age of Apocalypse and has become a fan favorite since, even though he has been replaced with his 616 counterpart. He would receive a figure as a BAF in his own self title wave that was exclusive to Walmart.

Background:
- Holocaust doesn’t have a physical body any more and needs this armor to survive. It was created by Dark Beast and has been drawn differently. It should be noted that to avoid backlash from Holocaust survivors, his name has switched between Nemesis and Holocaust a number of times.
Why do you need it for your collection?
- If you don’t mind paying through the nose for this as it’s a old exclusive BAF, you will need this for your AOA collections or as part of the X-men’s villains shelf. Honestly I would just wait for Hasbro to remake this.
