Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. On the first of February 2023, just over two years ago, we began a feature on this site where we look at characters that have yet to be made into a Marvel Legends figures. We did this in an effort to develop what could possibly be the most comprehensive list of characters that not only I but everyone who reads this site wants. There has been a good variety of character, some I have actually never heard of but now also want a figure of, from the X-men to the Avengers, from Strange Academy to Imperial Guards. There have been heroes and villains. And of the 49, now with this one 50, characters I have talked about 4 of them have been made, Destiny, Power Princess (Mephisto’s Simulacrum), Lilandra and Crystal. While I would like to go ‘tut tut’ to Hasbro, the fact that a few of these were officially announced if not week or months then within a year of the Missing Legends being posted, means Dwight and team are playing attention to us.

But despite that, there have been been a few character that Hasbro wanted to make and had prototypes made and for a variety of reason never made it to the market. Last week I posted a poll of which one of 5 of them you want me to do a Missing Legends of. When the Engine of Vengeance was launched, I saw a few people saying the reason it failed was because Robbie Reyes wasn’t a version of the character that people wanted. However, if I went by this poll, that has been proven false as with a whopping 50% of the votes, our 50th Missing Legends Poll winner was Ghost Rider (Reyes).

There were many reasons it failed, (the absurd price, the high backing number or the lack of international backing sites,) but no one wanting Robbie was not one of them. Now that Hasbro is doing MTO with the likes of Dragon man and 97 Sentinel, I can see them trying again with this set without the light, sounds and other garbage. There is a rumor of him coming in a 2-pack with Mephisto, but not only haven’t I heard that from a reliable source, but I also heard that rumor changes every time someone talks about it, like it’s actually a deluxe set, it’s coming with Goblin Queen (who got 26.09% of the votes by the way), it’s a Target exclusive etc etc. Thus, I think it’s just some people’s wishes.

Just for your info, Bi-Beast got 13.04%, Red King 6.52% and Lyra 4.35% of the votes. I would like to thank everyone who vote for this and everyone who continues to give me suggestions over the past 2 years.
