Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. I was sitting down, watching some anime on my computer (Ichijyoma Mankitsu Gurashi if you must know), when I got a notification of a brand new video from Dwight and Dan which revealed some brand new figures for the year. Most of it was stuff that was leaked but there were some surprises.
This was very MCU heavy for once which started off with the next wave of Deadpool and Wolverine figures. The first two were figures based on concept art from the movie, Wolverinepool, a merged Logan and Wade and X-force styled Deadpool. Also in this line was Calverine, Henry Calvel’s version of the Wolverine. These will be going up for Pre-order on July 9 at all retail stores.
Next they went onto Thunderbolts we another 2-pack, this time with Valentina Allegra De Fontaine and Void. This will be a Fan Channel and Amazon Exclusive and will go up June 30th.
For some Spider-man reveals we got a mixture of MCU and Comic figures. For those that missed the Final Swing Spidey this will be available at Target later in the year and comes with a new semi-masked head. Next they revealed a remake of the original Green Goblin costume from the original trilogy. (They called it No Way Home for legal reasons). This will be availible everywhere June 16.
As for the comic figures, to tie in with the upcoming Brand New Day movie, they revealed a classic Boomerang, which is exclusive to Walmart and will go up on July 23rd as part of the Collector Con. They also revealed a classic Scorpion based on his original / first appearance look. This will be an Amazon Exclusive and will go up for Pre-order August 1st.
To add to the Secret Wars line, they also revealed a re-release of the Secret Wars Dr. Doom, originally in a 2-pack with Captain Marvel / Monica Rambeau. This will be a Walmart exclusive and will go up for Pre-order July 23rd.
They OFFICIALLY revealed the Doc Samson figure which will go up for preorder June 11, this Thursday.
They then revealed the next Target Exclusive X-men retro carded figure which is Doug Ramsey/Cypher and unlike what was rumor or was on the corner of the box, he does NOT come with a Sam head, which means that there will be at least one more set for Cannonball later down the line.
The final figure they revealed was a Deluxe X-men 97 Beast. This is a brand new mold for Hank but there is no word on when he will be available.
Finally for the tease they showed off what looks to be a tease for the next mini-comic wave which looks to include MJ as well as a present of some sort, possibly X-mas Spider-man.
