Hey my fellow plastic addicts. If, like me, you had to work, missed the livestream or use this site for your Marvel Legends news (thanks again), you may have missed the announcement of Hasbro new Haslab project. If you don’t know what Haslab means, it is a crowdfunding project were you invest in a item. If the item meets it’s goal that item will be made. 2 years ago, Star War did Sail barge and last year Transformers did Unicron. This year was Marvel’s turn and if you have been keeping up with the news since Toy Fair, you know that they are doing a Sentinel. This is based on the recent HOX/POX storyline. Not only that but they also announced that it will be coming with a Bastion figure. If you don’t want Bastion, you can swap with Prime Sentinel head. They also mention that if you reach a certain number of backers, they will add even more.
From Hasbro Pulse Facebook page:
TARGET IDENTIFIED! Hasbro Pulse invites you to join us in bringing this project to life: a massive, 26.3-inch tall Marvel’s Sentinel figure. Sentinels have been a part of the X-Men story since their first appearance in X-Men #14 (1965). We need to hit 6,000 backers to fully fund this project, but we don’t want to stop there. For each 1,000 additional backers, we’ll unlock more marvelous stuff for every single backer.Pre-order and back the X-Men Legends Marvel’s Sentinel HasLab project for $349.99. This crowdfund project will run from July 10th, 2020 to August 24th, 2020. If successful, the figures will begin shipping around Fall 2021. A couple of thing before you go. First for those that, again like me, don’t live North America, Hasbro has said that it will be working with Etailer in Europe to bring it out over here. They did the same thing with the Unicron figure and Kapowtoys.co.uk. BBTS also has it up right now but it’s $500.
Also for those thinking that this is very little new for a livestream, Hasbro will be doing something for Tuesday involving the X-men 20th Anniversary line. It is currently unknown if this will be anything new or if it will be both the comic and movie figures. It is assumed that they will go up for pre-order then though.
