He may be the Age Of Apocalypse version of Logan, but he wasn’t Wolverine. (That name belongs to another character in this universe). Introduced in X-Men: Alpha #1 (1995) by Scott Lobdell, Mark Waid, Roger Cruz and Steve Epting, this version of Logan was one of Magneto’s original recruits into the X-men, where he took the name Weapon X. Due to his violent nature, Magneto had Jean Grey to use her powers to keep him in check. Logan and Jean fell in love and eventually married. After defeating Sabretooth, who was an agent of Apocalypse, Sabretooth joined the X-men and became friends with Logan. Logan left the X-men when Jean was captured by Apocalypse and Magneto refused to rescue her. This led to a battle with Cyclops, who blasted of his right hand, which never healed fully, and Logan removed one of Cyclops’ eyes.
Logan and Jean began working with the Human High Council and were given data by Sinister to help them attack the coastal defense of America. The High Council then decided to launch a Nuclear attack on Apocalypse. This cause Jean to leave Wolverine and help with the evacuation of the remaining humans in America. A battle with the Reavers caused the 2 to split up. He eventually followed her to the state, where he saw her being killed by Havok. He cradle her in his arms as the missile began to fall on the state. She was believed killed but Jean tapped into the power of the Phoenix and saved them both.
After the defeat of Apocalypse and Magneto helped rebuild the states, Logan (still believing Jean to be dead) traveled to Canada to hunt down former minions of Apocalypse. Magneto eventually convinced a young mutant Kirika to go and convince Logan to return to the X-men. Logan eventually learnt that Kirika was his daughter, whose mother was Mariko of this universe. He eventually learnt that Magneto was being blackmailed by Sinister and then forced Magneto to help him take him down. He was reunited with Jean when she was a member of the Sinister Six. He eventually killed Sinister and Magneto handed himself over to the proper authority. Kirika went home to Japan while Logan and Jean remain in the X-men as co-leaders. Logan’s mind became corrupted when he agree to sacrifice him to the Celestials becoming the new heir to Apocalypse. He started a reign of terror and it took the combine efforts of the X-men and the X-force from the Prime universe to stop him.
This version of Wolverine has been done a number of times since it’s introduction. Toybiz did a version in their Walmart exclusive Giant-man wave, with a variant with a burnt face. With the 25th anniversary of the Age of Apocalypse, Hasbro decided to launch a dedicated line for it so of course they decided to remake this version.

- Background:
- This is Logan as he appeared in the original Age of Apocalypse storyline. He went by Weapon X and this costume has been seen in the Prime universe a number of times.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- If you are making an Age of Apocalypse shelf then this is needed. This is also needed for any Wolverine collections if you have to have every version of him. If you got the Toybiz verison, then you could skip the Hasbro version but (IMO) I think the newer is much closer to the art of the time.
- Does it need a remake?:
- No.

Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not fact. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
