I don’t know what surprised me more when I researching this character. That he is actually a tiny worm like creature or that he is an Inhuman that continues to work with Apocalypse. Introduced in X-Factor #65 (1991) by Jim Lee, Whilce Portacio, Chris Claremont and Whilce Portacio, other then being a lesser and distant member of the Inhuman royal family, not much is known about who Tusk is. He was first seen when he was recruited by Apocalypse to be part of his Dark Raider to try and get back Apocalypse’s ship from X-factor and later against the Inhuman on the Blue Area of the Moon. After Apocalypse apparent death, the Raiders kept on trying to prove his Darwinian outlook by pitting mutants against each other until they were stopped by Cyclops. He would be a member when Genesis (Tyler Dayspring) took over but left the team soon after. He would return when the team came under Stryfe’s command. He would later be part of the group that began hunting mutant healers. They would battle Magneto’s X-men, which led to their “deaths” when Magento set off a series of explosions.
Possible Figures
- Which has the best chance of being made? – Out of the options above I think the original design is most likely to get made as it was the one that was made in the old X-men toyline from Toybiz. The others have less chance.
- How can it be made? – This is a character that can only be done as a BAF, as it is an obscure character that people barely knows about, and would require a mostly whole new sculpt. This of course would have to be part of some sort of X-men assortment.
