He shaved his teeth to give it a jagged look. Introduced in Web of Spider-Man #36 (1987) by Gerry Conway and Alex Saviuk, Lonnie was born with Albinism, a congenital disorder characterized by the complete absence of pigment in his skin, making his skin chalk white. He was bullied as a child with only Robbie Robertson showing him kindness. He would exercise and build his strength, becoming a bully himself. He was nicknamed Tombstone but later learnt that Robbie was writing an exposé on him and his criminal activities. He attacked Robbie and forced him to drop the story.

He would join the mob and later killed the mob boss Ozzy Montana, but it was witnessed by one of the boss’ underlings, Isadore Hipper. Hipper went to a local newspaper where Robbie happened to be working but was killed just as Robbie arrived. This caused Robbie to flee with his family to New York. Tombstone, however, continued working as a Mob enforcer and while he has been charged with a number of crimes, nothing stuck due to him either scaring or killing witnesses. At some point, he would have a daughter, Janice, who would idolize her father and later became the Beetle.

Tombstone would later be hired by a New York mobster called the Arranger. Robbie would see him on the streets and realized that he needed to stop him. After giving his testimony tape to Peter Parker, he went to confront Tombstone but Tombstone broke Robbie’s back. He learnt of the tape and threatened MJ to make Peter give him the tape. He was beaten by Spider-man and after Robbie’s confession, was sent to prison. Tombstone was sent to same prison as Robbie and would torment him constantly. He would force Robbie to summon Spider-man and tried to escape the prison. After another fight with Robbie where he was impaled with a pitchfork, he began working for Hammerhead.

Hammerhead wanted to kill Robbie and sent Hobgoblin after him, but Tombstone stopped him, wanting to do it himself. He took Robbie to a chemical site but got locked in a gas chamber, where he would be mutated gaining indestructible skin. He tried to take over Hammerhead operations but was stopped. After trying to join the Hand, He tried to gain a piece of Kingpin’s empire after Fisk fell from grace. Skipping a bit, he would become involved in a gang war with Mr. Negative and would later try to kidnap Harry Osborn’s son. He would later try and collect the bounty on Boomerang and learnt that he was roommates with Randy Robertson, Robbie’s son. To his shock, he found Randy and his daughter were a couple, which he didn’t like. He tried to get them to break up but after the pair was kidnapped by Madame Masque and Crime Master, allowed them to be engaged, making his peace with Robbie for their kids’ sake.

Tombstone is a classic Spider-man villain that fans have wanted for a while. He would receive a figure as part of the Spider-man: Homecoming wave.
