When Manga and Anime began to become popular, of course Marvel would try and capsulize on it. Introduced in Marvel Mangaverse: Spider-Man #1 (2002) by Ben Dunn and Tommy Ohtsuka, this Peter Parker was a member of the Spider Clan, a ninja clan trained in the way of the spider. He was trained by his sensei, Ben, but his Clan was killed by this universe Venom, who was working for the Kingpin. Peter would battle Venom and later the Hulk to get his revenge.
He would later meet Black Cat and was almost recruited by the Shadow Clan, the Spider Clan’s rivals. He would later meet Norman Osborn who wanted the Shadow clan’s powers to resurrect his wife and child. He would battle the Kingpin and would later take Mary-Jane as his apprentice. They would join the Avengers. The Spider-army would later recruit him to battle Inheritors.
Mangaverse Spider-man, as you may guess because Spider-man, is probably the only character that is popular of this universe, being used in other comics, video games and cartoons. He would receive a figure as part of the Toybiz Spider-man classic line but is was more of a child focus figure then an action figure.

- Why do you need it for your collection?
- You may want to get this figure to build your Spider-verse collection. However, I would just wait for Hasbro to remake this.
- Does it need a remake?
- Yes. This is a very small figure and would work better on the Mile Morales build.
