He is the sidekick Spider-man never knew he had. Introduced in Spider-Man (Vol. 4) #7 (2023) by Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos, Bailey was living in the FEAST center when Madame Monstrosity kidnapped him and a few other children. She would splice his DNA with a spider. While in captivity, he made friends with a boy named Eli and gave him the nickname Hellifino. Unfortunately, Madame used this idea to splice Eli’s with a rhino and elephant. Bailey managed to escape and became Spider-boy, the sidekick of Spider-man. He would supposedly go on many adventures with his mentor and Miles Morales. He was even around for when Doc Ock took over Spider-man’s body.

Or so we are meant to believe. At some point, Bailey was erased from existence when he sacrificed himself to protect the Spider-men from the totem dagger used by an under Spider-person under the control of Shathra. Everyone forget who he was and even question his existence when he returned following the battle with Shathra and him being restore Web of Life by Neith. Running from his friends, he tried to search for anyone that remember him. He happened upon the Inner Demon harassing an innocent girl. He rescued the girl, Christina Xu, who agreed to help him.

He would later team up with Norman Osborn, who had now become the hero Gold Goblin, and they helped Spider-man fight Electro. They saved Peter but he took Bailey to a rooftop to try and make him stop being a hero. Bailey of course refused, trying to remind Peter of their times together and how Peter taught him about responsibility. Peter apologized and Bailey became his sidekick once more. He later was attacked by Hellifino, who was sent to capture Bailey by Madame. During the Gang War, Bailey protected the FEAST center from both the Maggia and an attack from Vermin. Some point later, Bailey was invited to join the Spider-Society.

Spider-boy is a fairly new character so not many people were asking for a figure of him. However, he would receive a figure as part of a Spider-man wave for 2025.
