- Origin: Donna Diego was a mercenary hired by the Life Foundation. In order to fulfill her role as a superhuman officer for the corporation’s future utopia, she was granted one of the 5 symbiotes forcibly spawned from the Venom symbiote.

Maybe if the Life Foundation did a better background check on Donna Diego, then their symbiotes’ hosts might have survived. Introduced in Venom Lethal Protector #4 (1993) by David Michelinie and Ron Lim, she was bonded to one of five symbiotes that the Life Foundation forced the Venom symbiote to give birth to. She was actually the first introduced as she attacked and kidnapped Eddie Brock while fighting Spider-man. Venom escaped and defeated the five Symbiote, who were believed killed in an explosion. They survived and tried to get Venom to teach them how to control the symbiote which he refused. She went to Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly) to help her track down Venom but he refused which cause her to go on a rampage. This cause Venom to attack her only to be saved by Scarlet Spider.
In the next attempt the five symbiote made to get Brock’s help, they helped him escape prison but found out that he had lost his symbiote. Donna then went about killing all of her symbiote siblings’ host and blamed it on Brock. Brock reunited with his symbiote and defeated her. She later seemed to gain a bit of control over the symbiote and help Venom defeat the Xenophage. Years later, she was hunted and killed by Eddy Brock after he had separated from the Venom and Anti-Venom symbiote and tried to rid the world of symbiotes.
Despite being a lesser known character, Scream is actually the most famous member of the Life Foundation symbiote, appearing in video games, cartoon series and even a Universal Park ride. She has been requested by many fans and was guaranteed when Lasher was reveal. She see her first ML in the Venom wave.

- Like all of the Life Foundation symbiote, Scream didn’t get her name from the comics. But unlike her siblings, it wasn’t from an action figure. In the video game Spider-man and Venom: Separation Anxiety, where she was a boss, she was given the name Scream.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- While is is much higher up in importance then Lasher, many people will probably skip her as she hasn’t really been seen much. If you are a Spidey fan, she might be a nice addition to his rogue gallery, especially since he we have very few female villains in that display. However, for Venom and Venom Verse fans this is an absolute most.
