His gimmick is throwing snake eggs with various gadgets and gases in them. Introduced in Captain America #341(1988) by Mark Gruenwald and Kieron Dwyer, little is known of this African born snake villain before he joined Viper’s (Madame Hydra) team in order to take over Serpent Society. It is known that he may be a mutant mercenary who was approached by AIM, who gave him his gadgets. He joined Viper in an attack against the Serpent Society. When she was defeated and abandoned the team, Rock Python remained with the Society where he grew close to Puff Adder and Anaconda. During the trail of Diamondback, he was one of the few that voted innocent but helped the Society battle Cap and Nomad. Since then he has remained with the Society, during King Cobra leadership and when they were Serpent Solutions. He tried to go straight but usually returns to the team.
Rock Python is probably one of the few character from the Society that many never even thought we would get. However, Hasbro (probably needing a quick budget figure) wants to build that team as much as they can so they made him a figure in the second Avengers: End Game wave.

- Since his original introduction, Rock Python has basically worn the same costume with only the shades of the colors changing depending on the year and artist.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- Not for everybody and will probably peg warm, but if you have been collecting the Society members since Constrictor (not a member but counting anyway), which we now have 6 members including this guy. It is needed for that team as well as your Cap rogue gallery.
