The seventh in the line. Introduced in Hulk (Vol. 2) #1 (2008) by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness, the LMD known only as Anthon was believed to be an engineer and thought to be one of the original Crimson Dynamo pilots. He joined the Winter Guard as the seventh Red Guardian. He was the Red Guardian that help War Machine defend Russia against the Skrull Invasion. When the Protectorate returned to Earth, they revealed that Fantastia was actually a Dire Wraith who decapitated Anthon. His head was kept alive by Galina Nemirovsky in her plan for revenge against the Guard.

When he originally appeared, he used the classic Red Guardian costume before switching over to the Steel Guardian version.

    • If you want to build the Winter Guards, you will need a Red Guardian no matter which version it is so you can use this as any of them.
