From farm hand to professional criminal. Introduced in Defenders #17 (1974) by Len Wein and Sal Buscema, Brian Calusky shared a cell with the Wrecker and the rest of the people who would become the Wrecking Crew when they all broke out of prison. As thanks for the assistance, Wrecker share his powers with the other 3, each gaining powers with Brian hand growing in size. Taking the name Piledriver, he would join the other in becoming the Wrecking Crew. He is one of the only ones to remain loyal to Wrecker and is rarely seen without the others. He would later learn that he had a son, who would join the Crew as the Excavator. He would be with the Crew when they joined the Hood’s gang and also was one of many criminals sent to Pleasant Hills, where SHIELD tried to use the Cosmic Cube to rewrite their minds and personality.
The Wrecking Crew has been a fan favourite for many years and as such have had a few figures over the years. The only ML was a variant of Thunderball as part of the Arnim Zola wave.
