Even blind, Clint Barton is the greatest archer in Marvel. Introduced in Wolverine Vol 3 #66 by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, Hawkeye lead a team of Avengers to Las Vegas when they were attacked and betray by the Thunderbolt. He was left alive to humiliate him. The villain began conquer America, dividing the country between themselves. At some point around this time, he began a relationship with Spider-man’s youngest daughter which resulted in a child, who would later become Spider-Girl. Decades later he was hired by Jebediah Hammer to help guard a delivery. They were attack by the Madrox gang, where he killed most of them but missed one shot. He went to Claire Temple who told him his glaucoma was causing him to go blind. Before we was going to, he sought revenge against the Thunderbolts.
He would later team up with the new Ant-man before Kate Bishop joined him to track down Songbird. They tracked her down but before they could kill her, they were attack by Bullseye. Songbird sacrificed herself to allow Hawkeye to escape. They eventually tracked down Baron Zemo at the Weapon X facility and in a fight with Avalanche, Hawkeye lost his eyesight. He would travel to Asia and be trained to use his blindness by Stick, who was Matt Murdock in this universe. He would later get Logan’s help in a delivery which would see him rescuing his daughter and later be killed.
With the Wasteland universe getting more comic and stories since Old Man Logan, it came as no surprise that Hawkeye would get his own series. As such, Hasbro decided to give us this version of him in a X-men Movies 20th Anniversary 2-pack with of course Old Man Logan.
