Technically, she is always naked. Introduced in Ms. Marvel #16 by Chris Claremont and Jim Mooney, Mystique is probably one of the oldest mutants on the planet, since no one knows her age. One of her ealrliest known appearances is when she met Wolverine in 1921, when they were both about to be executed by gunfire. They survived and began a relationship before they split over a failed job. She would later meet and married her lifelong partner Irene Alder, Destiny. While they were apart, she began a relationship with Victor Creed, which resulted in the birth of Graydon Creed, a extreme mutant racist. She would later marry German nobleman Baron Christian Wagner but she had an affair with the demon Azazel, becoming pregnant with Kurt Wagner, who she throw off a waterfall when she saw his appearance. Years later, she returned to Destiny and adopted the young Rogue.
While she initially started as a Ms. Marvel villain, it was the time she set up her own Brotherhood of Mutants that she became an X-men villain, when the Brotherhood attempted to assassinate Senator Robert Kelly. After a few more missions, Mystique’s Brotherhood approached the government as their own team as the Freedom Force, but worked behind the scenes to commit crimes. The team eventually broke up and Mystique joined Forge’s version of X-factor. She left the team during the Onslaught Saga and would reform the Brotherhood to try and kill Kelly again but failed. (Only for him to be killed by one of his former supporters).
She would later kidnapped and impersonated Moira MacTaggart which resulted in the doctor’s death. She would later began working for Xavier as a solo agent and would later be accepted into the X-men. She would betray the team (a few times) and join the Marauders during the Messiah complex. She would be approached by Norman Osborn and asked his Dark X-men (impersonating both Xavier and Jean Grey). At some unknown point she married Xavier and gave birth to his son. She would fight for good and evil over the years and has since joined the Quite council.
(Technically every normal size figure could be Mystique). Mystique is an popular villain and despite what the movies and cartoons say, she rarely has any interaction with Magneto. She has had a few figures over the years. The first ML was part of Toybiz’s Sentinel wave (sharing a BAF part with Omega Red). She wouldn’t see another figure until Hasbro’s Epic Heroes wave. The next figure she received was a Walgreens exclusive.
Classic

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Walgreen’s Exclusive Marvel Legends – Mystique
- Background:
- This is Mystique in her most common “Costume”. Like all classic figures, it has been drawn differently over the year but generally keeps the same basic design.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- If you are getting any Mystique figure, this is the one to get. You absolutely need it for your X-men villains shelf (for your Brotherhood, Marauders and more team) but it can also be used as a X-men member as well as part of Wolverine’s villains shelf (yes, alot people keep them separate from the X-Villains shelf). Other collections you could use her for are a Captain Marvel, Avengers and X-Factor.
- Does it need a remake?:
- No.
Second assassination attempt

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends X-men Movies 20th Anniversary – Mystique
- Background:
- *Sigh* Around the time the first X-men movie release, Marvel started trying make many of the characters look like their movie counterpart (didn’t last long). This was first seen when Mystique reassembled the Brotherhood in another attempt to assassinate Senator Kelly, which they failed at after Pyro help protect the Senator.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- Get this for your movie collection. Don’t get it for your comic collection (UNLESS you are a wardrobe completist.
- Does it need a remake?:
- No.
Xavier’s Agent

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends Epic Heroes wave- Mystique
- Background:
- Around the time that Xavier had moved to Genosha after it was destroyed by Cassandra Nova, he hired Mystique to be one of his agents. This didn’t last long and she soon went rogue.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- Oh god this figure is hideous. Unless you are a Mystique fan, then I recommend skipping this figure, especially since it came with not baf piece in the wave.
- Does it need a remake?:
- Yes. I mean look at the artwork and look at the figure. Needs a new version.

Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not facts. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
