Regardless his many adventures were real or exaggerated retellings, it is known he is a hero of the west. Introduce in Kid Colt #1 (1948) by Ernie Hart, Bill Walsh and Chu Hing, Blaine Colt doesn’t have a concrete origin but the all essentially boil down to someone in his family was shot and killed by some sort of villain and Blaine became an outlaw to bring the villains to justice. His adventures are also up to rumors and speculations. But what was known is that (in universe) he was a real person and he did fight for justice outside the law. This brought him into conflict with the Marshal and various organizations. He would also would team up with other outlaws like Phantom Rider, Rawhide Kid, Two-Gun Kid and more. In one particular adventure, he teamed up with the outlaws to try and take down Kang the Conquerer, which saw him encounter the Avengers. After a long life of fighting, he faked his death, with the aid of his friends, during a battle with Gunhawk. This was all so he could retire with his wife and son. At some point during his retirement, he walked through a portal that made him become unstuck in time with no memories of his past. Along with other historical figures, he was pulled through a portal by Skaar and they helped Skaar protect the Savage land from the Designer’s schemes. He would remain at the Savage Land and at some point passed on, as Two-Gun Kid mentioned having met him in the afterlife.

Possible Figures

  • Which has the best chance of being made? – Like all Cowboy characters of the time, Colt wears stereotypical Cowboy. What makes his design unique (in the Marvel Universe), is the cow print vest and red shirt.
  • How can it be made? – This one is an easiet figure for Hasbro to me as they can use the Cowboypool as a base with a new vest. As for HOW he can be released, the easy way is to be part of a mixed BAF wave. It could also be a deluxe with his horse Steel. But I think the best way to release him (and many of the other western heroes) is a massive MTO box set.
