It was a failsafe in case Tony ever turned evil. Introduced in Superior Iron Man #1 (2014) by Tom Taylor and Yıldıray Çınar, Tony created this digital copy of themselves after a near fatal attack from Black Lama. Stark obviously survived the attack and forgot about the AI program. When Stark was turned into a villain and became the Superior Iron Man, Pepper Potts activated the AI to stop Tony. It used the MK II armor to begin working on a plan to stop Tony and sent Pepper to lure him into a trap. The AI then activated a legion of Tony old suits and attacked Tony. They thought they succeeded but Stark tricked them into thinking he had changed back only to upload a virus to erase the AI program.

Given that this AI used pretty much every armor Iron man has ever worn up to that point, every armor could be used. However, I will only be mentioning two for the sake of simplicity.

  • Background:
    • When Pepper activated the AI program, it began using the MK II armor to formulate his plans. When that was destroyed by Superior Iron man, he began using the Silver Centurion suit instead and would jump between various armor to keep himself alive.
  • Why do you need it for your collection?
    • If you are building Iron Man’s armory, you pretty much have this character.
  • Does it need a remake?
    • No.
