His family were monsters so Logan was worried he would become one too. Introduced in Wolverine Vol 3 #65 (2009) by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, Bruce Banner Jr. is the youngest member of a crazed Hulk. He was Banner’s favourite and would fond over him. However, after his family killed Logan’s family, Logan went and destroyed his family. Feeling sympathy for the child, Logan adopted the child to raise him to be the first in a new generation of heroes.

Like his adopted father, there are two version of what happens next. One had Galactus coming to Earth and Hulk Jr. leading the New Defenders to find a new home. The other, which I think is the true timeline, is when Logan had a vision of Hulk Jr. becoming the new Maestro. Needing to prevent, Logan traveled back to the Wastelands and help his son fight villains. Logan’s death inspired Hulk Jr. and Dani Cage (this universe’s Thor) to form the Avengers of the Wasteland.

This version of Hulk hasn’t really had a new figure per say. His only Marvel Legends is a pack in with Old Man Logan as a baby he can carry. I’m hoping that we will get a Avengers of the Wasteland eventually.

    • Of course when Logan took the Baby Hulk with him, he had to carry the baby around.
  • Why you need it for your collection?:
    • Th only reason you want to get the pack-in is if you are getting the Old Man Logan figure. I can’t really recommend getting this for anything else.

    • No.
