He is Marvel’s own Diabolik. Introduced in New X-Men #128 (2002) by Grant Morrison and Igor Kordey, Fantomex is actually Weapon XIII, created by the Weapon plus program to be one of a team of false heroes that would hunt down mutants. When the Program was transporting himself and Weapon XII through Paris, Fantomex escaped and went to X-Corporation for safe haven. He met Xavier and Jean Grey who were touring the world and told them about Weapon XII. He work with the X-men to defeat and kill XII but refused to join the X-men, wanting not to be anyone soldier. He was later seen rescuing Dust and sending her to the X-mansion. He would later team up with Wolverine and Cyclops to take down the Weapon Plus program in the World dome, including defeat Ultimaton, Weapon XV. They then travel to a satelite, where Wolverine learnt that Captain America was the first of the Weapon Plus program, which also included Nuke.
He would later hunt down the Program’s head, the living bacterial Sublime and would later aided Mystique and her friend Shortpack. He would later help the X-men during Second Coming and officially joined the X-men. He would later become part of Wolverine’s secret Uncanny X-force team. He would kill the Apocalypse clone, who was still a child but cloned him again and raised him in a virtual world. This clone would become Evan Sabahnur, Genesis. He would also get involved in a romantic relationship with Psylocke. After a new Brotherhood attacked the team, which saw him battle the Skinless Man, Fantomex and Psylocke left the team but later broke up. He would later join Cable’s X-force team and would later become a secret agent of Magneto’s X-men team. He would later find himself in London with Gambit and helped a new team to rescue Xavier. He gave up his body in order to Xavier to have it. He would later regain his body.
Fantomex has been a very popular character since his creation. He would also receive a number of figures over the years. This first figure was part of the Arnim Zola baf wave, which used an older Toybiz mold. He would later receive an update as part of an Amazon Exclusive box set.
Uncanny X-force

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Amazon Exclusive Marvel Legends X-men Movies 20th Anniversary Box set – Fantomex with Nimrod and Psylocke
- Background:
- Like all members of the Uncanny X-force, Fantomex would recieve a new costume when he joined. However, unlike the rest, this would later become the costume he would wear most often.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- If you want to complete the Uncanny X-force them, which we have all members in their proper costumes, then you will need this. I would recommend not getting the older version as it is on a older mold and the newer one is much better. Plus it comes with an amazing Nimrod and Psylocke figure. Also needed for a Wolverine, Weapon Plus and X-men collections.
- Does it need a remake?:
- No.

Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not facts. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
