He was a war hero and soon began a galactic hero. Introduced in Amazing Fantasy (Vol. 2) #14 (2005) by Jay Faerber and Carlos Magno, Gabriel Vargas was a paraplegic soldier that was honorably discharged following Operation: Desert Storm. He was chosen by the Enigma Force to become Captain Universe and went into space to right the wrongs in the universe. At some point he was captured by the Kree following the Annihilation wave, and imprisoned. When Ultron became the leader of the Phalanx and began his Conquest, he was assign to a team led by Star-Lord if low or non tech agent to infiltrated the Phalanx and take them down. He would eventually lose his powers but kept working with the team. He was later killed by Blastaar when he was found planting bomb in a Phalanx base.

While this version of Captain Universe wasn’t specifically made but since he wore the common male Captain Universe, you can use the Captain Universe / Cosmic Spider-man figure.

    • This is how Gabriel look when he was originally given the Enigma force.It was shortlived as his next appearance was part of the Kree Strike force.
  • Why do you need it for your collection?
    • I’m going to speck for Gabe only but you may want to get this for your GOTG collection as the Kree Strike force was the precursor to that team. It can also be got for a cosmic display.
