Introduced in Journey into Mystery#97 (1963) by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the Father of Odin and Cul, thus the grandfather of Thor, Angela and the rest of Odin’s family, Bor Burison was only really seen in flashbacks and origin stories usually involving Odin. He was a warrior and king of Asgard, who would be the first into battle. He raised Odin to be his heir. During a battle with the Frost Giants, he was trapped in ice by a Wizard (Present day Loki) and left there to centuries.
He was eventually defrosted by Loki, where he went on a berserker rage believe the Earth had been taken over by demons. This lead to a battle with Thor who killed him before knowing who he was. This eventually lead to Thor’s exile from Asgard and Balder taken up the throne as King.
As such a obscure character, there has been only one version of him so far.
