Yeah, maybe swapping bodies with the real Vision wasn’t a good idea. Introduced in Avengers #359 (1992) by Bob Harras and Steve Epting, this version of Vision was brought to the Prime universe by Proctor in part of his plan to kill every version of Sersi there is in the multiple. Needing a spy in the Avengers, they kidnapped Vision, who was in his all white form at the time, and swapped minds in between the two. As Vision, he pretended to be the Avenger, spying on the team. He was planning to kill the Gatherer betrayer Swordsman (Javart) but stopped when Sersi returned to the mansion, seemingly driven insane with her mind meld with Black Knight. When nothing else could stop her, he would phase a hand into her head and solidified it, rendering her unconscious. He was about to kill her when Captain America arrived and stopped him, questioning him when Avengers kill.

He would eventually reveal his true nature and escaped during the battle between the Avengers and Gatherers. A few weeks later, he would return wanting his original body back as he was left heavily damaged with his Gatherer’s Jocasta and Tabula Rasa and the Prime version of Ultron and reprogrammed them to attack the Vision and drive him made. However, Vision managed to defeat and destroy Anti-Vision, destroying his old body in the process.
