An electric psionic being gained the minds of terrorist……well that’s not good. Introduced in Incredible Hulk #166 (1973) by Steve Englehart and Herb Trimpe, the creature that would become known as Zzzax was a result of a terrorist attacking the New York power planet. A stray bullet hit the generator and the resulting explosion sent an electric surge across the room, which hit all the people combining their minds together. This created a new being which took a human form and called itself Zzzax. It went on a rampage and killed more people, gaining their minds and memories, before being stopped by Hulk and Hawkeye.

It would return later and would battle Hulk again when the Star Research Center accidentally resurrected it. Years later after Bruce and Hulk combined their minds into Smart Hulk, it would return fight Hulk again, who sent the being into space. It would return in California and would battle the WCA. At some point, SHIELD had capture it who gave it to Gamma Base. General Ross tried to use the creature for his own agenda against the Hulk, but the creature absorbed his mind. It went on a rampage and when it found Hulk, Ross hatred for him cause him to take control of the creature. He was eventually saved by the Hulk and returned to his body. It has since returned several times to battle the Hulk and other heroes.
