His head is a miniture sun. Introduced in New X-Men Annual #2001 (2001) by Grant Morrison and Leinil Francis Yu, Xorn was kept imprisoned after his powers manifested, even kept away from his twin brother Shen. Both were forced to wear helmets of iron but Xorn was sold to John Sublime. He was rescued by The X-men and was invited to join the team. He would leave to explore the world before hand but was eventually approached by Cyclops. They were attacked by a Cassandra Nova brainwashed Lilandra and her Imperial Guards. He would eventually join the teaching staff of Xavier’s School, which was opened up to all mutants.
He was put in charge of a special class of mutants that were abused because of their appearance or powers. Soon after, Esme Cuckoo started dealing the drug Kick to students and somehow got Xorn addicted to it. Xorn began believing he was Magneto and would later began teaching his students Magneto’s ways. He would eventually reveal his identity as Magneto and led an attack against New York, which resulted in the death of a number of people, including Jean Grey. An enraged Wolverine then killed him. It turned out the Kick drug was actually part of the living bateria John Sublime who inhabited Xorn body and pushed him to these act of terror. After M-Day, he became part of the Collective, the essence of all mutants powers that were lost. He would eventually travel across North America, killing Alpha Flight. He would eventually find Magneto but was defeated by the New Avengers. He would eventually return to life when he was resurrected by the Five alongside his brother.
Xorn was a popular character during his short run in the book. However many people get him and his brother mixed up. He would receive a figure in the second Marvel Legends wave (the Blob wave).
New X-men

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends Blob wave – Xorn
- Background:
- When Xorn was introduced, The first/second X-men movies from Fox had release in cinemas. In an effort to give the comics a similar look for all the team. They ditch the individual costumes and instead gave all X-men similar looking leather uniforms. This was also true for Xorn with the only difference being the chain on his chest and the helmet.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- If you have to have every member of the X-men you will need this. It will also look nice next to the X-men Classics New X-men Wolverine, with these two being the only ones from that time that has been made. It can also be used as part of a villains set.
- Does it need a remake?:
- Yes, however I would prefer if they made one of his brother, as he as been in the comics more.
Needs
Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not facts. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
