This poor mutant suffered alot before being taken in by her surrogate mother. Introduced in Marvel Graphic Novel #4 (1982) by Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod, Rahne was raised by an abusive Reverend, who was actually her father. After her power manifested, he led a mob to capture and kill her but she was rescued by Moira MacTaggart. Moira took Rahne in and raised her as her own daughter before taking her to Xavier to help with her powers. Rahne would soon help Xavier rescue some young mutants and they joined together to form the New Mutants. Dues to her religious background, she found it difficult to interact with the rest of the team but soon grew to accept and love them.

When the New Mutants were taken to Asgard, Rahne met and feel in love with Hrimhari, Asgard wolf prince with similar powers to her. Skipping a bit, Rahne eventually left the team to help Havok in Genosha before being invited to join the government sponsored X-factor with him. She would eventually leave the team to help Moira in finding a cure for the Legacy Virus. While in Scotland, she joined Excalibur but would she tragedy when she lost her powers and Mystique appeared to have killed Moira after she has found a cure for the virus.  She would eventually begin teaching at the Xavier Mansion but began a relationship with Elixir who restored her powers with his own. Their relationship was found out and she was forced to leave the mansion.

She would rejoined her old teammate to form X-factor Investigation and rebegan her relationship with Rictor. When the first mutant was born after M-Day, she joined other mutant with tracking abilities to form a new X-force. She would later become part of Wolverine’s X-force where she rekindled her relationship with Hrimhari. They slept together and she became pregnant. However, because it was part Asgardian, the pregancy was killing her and the bady. Hrimhari made a deal with Hela to revive Elixir to save her but lost his life. She returned to X-factor Investigation and told Rictor the baby was his, but he was in a relationship with Shatterstar. He eventually found out the truth but decided to support her as a friend. She would later give birth but after she was attacked by a number of wolf and dog being, decided to allow Werewolf by Night. This caused her to become very depressed but was aided by Polaris and Siren, who helped her find WBN and her son and decided to stay him.

Her son was later killed by a demonic powered Guido. After a while and when Hydra took over America, Wolfsbane was found in New Tian as part of the security guard. She had gained a secondary mutation, which allowed her to send out multiple wolfs. After rejoining the X-men, she soon quit. While sitting on a bench, she was approached by a group of men who eventually realized she was a mutant and started beating her. Refusing to use her powers against them, they ended up killing her. She would be revived by the Five on Krakoa.

Dues to Wolfsbane appearance, it was hard to think of how Hasbro would make her. Most wanted her in her X-factor costume. She would see a figure as a swappable head in the New Mutants alongside Karma and Moonstar.

War of the Realms (kind of)

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Walgreens’ Exclusive Marvel Legends New Mutants – Wolfsbane (with Karma and Dani Moonstar swappable parts)

  • Background:
    • Out of the 3 ladies in this set, Wolfsbane was the only one who wasn’t part of the X-men squad New Mutant. However she did wear a similar costume during the War of the Realms story arc.
  • Why you need it for your collection?:
    • This is obviously needed for a New Mutants collection but also for a X-men, X-factor, X-factor Investigation, Uncanny X-force and Excalibur collections.
  • Does it need a remake?:
    • Not really but I would like a version that she actually wore.

Needs

Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not fact. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
