Every kingdom needs a Captain for the Royal Guards. Introduced in Saga of Crystar, Crystal Warrior #1 (1983) by Mark Gruenwald, Ralph Macchio, Jim Shooter, John Romita Jr., Mary Jo Duffy and Bret Blevins, Warbow is a vetaren soldier that served in wars eventually becoming Captain of the Royal Guards. When his leaders, the twin princes of Crystar and Moltar, began their civil war, he sided with Crystar. He was stroke in the eyes and taken to Ogeode, where he underwent the same procedure that Crystar went through and transformed into a crystal line being. He would continue to serve Crystar for years. He was later seen when he help Arkon rescue Crystar from Morgan LeFay, during the Weirdworld arc from the Secret Wars.
