They are the magic division of SHIELD. (Not to be confused with STAKE, that deals with supernatural monsters.). Introduced in Thunderbolts Annual (Vol. 2) #1 (2013) by Ben Acker, Ben Blacker and Matteo Lolli, this division first became known when Director Pandora Peters contacted General Ross, then Red Hulk and leader of the Thunderbolts, to help stop Dr. Strange, who have appeared to have turned. They gave the TBolts the equipment they needed but changed their memories to hide their involvement. Turned out that Strange hadn’t turned but it was instead Oberoth’m’gozz, the king of the Fairies. They would retrieve their artifacts after his defeat and wiped their memories. After SHIELD disbanded, some of WAND formed the Blasphemy Cartel. Wong was brought into help reform Wand, bringing Doktor Zee with him. Other notible members include Necromancer, Michael Hawthorne the man responsible to resurrect the US Presidents as zombies which Deadpool was hired to take down.
