Introduced in: Warlock #9 (1975)

In this future, the Magus successfully insured his own existence by summoning the In-Betweener to “enlighten” his past self, Adam Warlock, and send him back in time. Afterwards, the Magus continued spreading the Universal Church of Truth to every race in the universe. One of these races were the Zen-Whoberis, who refused, so were subsequently “purified” with death-dealing rays by Magus’ Grand Inquisitors. The lone survivor of the Zen-Whoberis was Gamora, who Thanos stole back in time using his Time Machine and trained to kill the Magus before his existence could be ensured. This future was prevented after Adam Warlock used Thanos’s Time Machine to insure that a different fate awaited him in the near future, which in addition retroactively erased the Magus’s and Universal Church of Truth’s effects on Earth-616.
