He is the reason Tony Stark had no choice but to end his friend’s life. Introduced in Iron Man: Inevitable #1 by Joe Casey and Frazer Irving, Sinclair Abbott appeared as a charitable man, who would help people with his Abbott Foundation. In reality, he was Spymaster, who had his predecessor killed in prison and sent the Ghost to attack Iron man and acquire the Living Laser. During the Civil War, he was snuck into Stark Industries and would be found by Happy Hogan. A fight ensued which resulted in Happy being thrown off a high platform, resulting in him falling into a coma.
He would escape and would later be hired by Justine Hammer to sabotage Stark Resilient. As such he would take the disguise of Leonard Pimacher, a Stark employee, and begin a relationship with Tim Cababa. Even though he did love Tim, he had no choice but to attack him when his identity was found out. He would attack Stark’s office and fought Bethany Cabe. He was shot and hospitalized by Bambi Arbogast but would attack the guard guarding his room to fake his death. He would return and was hired by Baintonic to steal a hard drive containing Stark’s memories, coming into conflict with Iron Man and Captain Marvel. He would later set up the black-market network, Source Control, which would bring him into the attention of Iron man, as well as Ironheart.
While he only started wearing it recently, Abbott would get a figure as part of the Black Widow’s Crimson Dynamo wave.
