What if Marvel didn’t do Brand New Day? Introduced in Spider-verse #4 (2015) by Dan Slott, Ty Templeton and Paco Herrera, this Peter Parker was initially just a random Spider-man who had a talk with another Spider-man dress in black suit that aided the Spider-army against the Inheritors. With a few exceptions, his life story was pretty much the same as the Prime Universe up until May was shot during the Civil War. Instead, Aunt May died and Peter and MJ didn’t make the deal with Mephisto. They continued living and were later blessed with another daughter, Annie. (There first daughter, Mayday, still died at childbirth.)

When the Multiverse was destroyed during the Incursions and parts of the various universe were fused into God Doom’s Battleworld, Peter and his family were placed in the section known as the Regency. This place was under treat from the Regent, a villain that hated heroes and super-power beings and would capture them to use their powers with his suit, but when Spider-man was about to join the other heroes, Venom attack his family and Spider-man had to return home to save them. With the heroes defeated by the Regent, Peter decided to keep his family safe he would retire. Years later after raising his daughter while wearing inhibitor collars, he happened upon the Power Pack who were under treat from the Regent’s men. Using a makeshift costume, he helped the Pack escape. But this alerted Regent that Spider-man was still around and sent the Sinister Six after him. During a super-power screening at school, a child was detected to have powers and the Sinister Six attacked. Spider-man went to help him while Mockingbird rescued his wife and kid. Spider-man was captured. Working with rebels, MJ and Annie, now with her own spider-suit as Spiderling, rescued Spider-man and ended Regent’s rule.

After their universe was restored, the family began working together as a team, with MJ using a version of the Regent’s suit to copy her husband and daughter’s powers. They would battle the likes of the Mole Man, The Brotherhood of Mutants and more. Skipping eight years (no, that actually what happens), the pair had to deal with Annie as a teenager wanted to do more. Peter began working as a teacher at her school, which she didn’t like. They would eventually be recruited by the Spider-girls of the Prime Universe and MC2 universe to battle the Inheritors during the Spider-Geddon arc.

This version of Spider-man and his family have been an extremely popular version of the Web head, with many asking for Spinneret and Spiderling to be made. A Renew Your Vow 2-pack was revealed with this Spider-man and Spinneret, even though many will just use it as a Prime Spider-man.
