She can become any creature that is native to Canada, including a Wendigo. Introduced in X-Men #120 by John Byrne and Chris Claremont, in order to create an agent to battle the Great Beast, the goddess Nelvanna mated with a mortal man. With the help of Michael Twoyoungmen, she gave birth to Narya. Michael took the child in and raised her. He also used a spell to bind her to Canada, where she would become weaker when she leaves the country. Because of her origin, she grew and matured into adulthood fast and was eventually invited to join Alpha Flight alongside Michael, taking the name Snowbird.
While she was a member of the Flight, she took the name Anne McKenzie and became a RCMP Records Officer. She would later met and fall in love with a fellow Officer, Doug Thompson. They would eventually marry and she became pregnant with his child, which caused the Eskimo gods to ban her from their realm. While given birth, her child was infected by the evil being Pestilence causing to age into adulthood. Doug and the baby were killed in the battle and Snowbird was killed by Vindicator when she was possessed by Pestilence. The family’s spirit were welcome into the God’s realm and Snowbird would return to Earth a few times to aid her team until she was fully revived by AIM.
During the Secret Wars event, she joined the God Squad, a team made up of various Pantheon gods lead by Hercules in order to kill the Skrull’s god. After experiencing survivor’s guilt from when the Flight was killed by the Collective, Hercules comforted her and they would sleep together. After returning home, she helped battle her former God Squad teammate, Amatsu-Mikaboshi, the Chaos King. This saw her being reunited with her resurrected Flight teammates.
Snowbird has a bit of a strange history in terms of ML. For many years, people had being using the White Sasquatch that Toybiz made as a stand-in since she transformed into one a few times. They also could use the white falcon figure that came in the MU size Puck figure. She would finally get a proper figure as part of the Amazon exclusive Alpha Flight box set.

- This is Snowbird in properly the only costume she has worn. Like all classic costumes, this has been drawn and colored different, like having the costume being different shades of blue or the more famous blue and white.

- If you want to build the Alpha Flight team, you will need this figure. Also if you want to build the God Squad team you can but there are several members missing from that. Other then that, you can get her for a Wolverine and X-men allies shelf.
