MODOK is not the only person to lead Advanced Idea Mechanics, otherwise known as AIM. Introduced in FF #1 (2011) by Jonathan Hickman and Steve Epting, Andrew Forson was once part of the Cult of Entropy and brainwashed Mockingbird to spy on SHIELD. Once he was done with her, he erased her memories of the event. He would later join AIM and lead a splitter group to help the Wizard escape prison. He would become the Scientist Supreme of AIM after set up a base in the criminal nation,  Barbuda. 

He would lead the group to battle SHIELD and the Secret Avengers, when he stole the Iron Patriot armor to create a army of droid. He was believed killed by Quake but soon resurfaced as a member of the United Nation security council. With MODOK and other rogue AIM agents joining SHIELD and the Avengers to take him down, Forson lead a team to attack on Washington but was defeated by the Avengers. He was eventually ousted as leader of AIM when Sunspot bought the organization. With many of the members siding with Sunspot, Forson had no choice but to flee with Monica Rappaccini, swearing revenge.

While we have had a few AIM soldier, most people usually just put him with either MODOK figures. Not many people were asking for a Scientist Supreme. However, Hasbro wanted to give more AIM variety to people collections, who they decided to release this version as part of their Bring on the Bad Guy wave.

  • Background:
    • We have never seen this guy’s face. He hide his identity by wearing an armoured suit that  is designed similar to a standard AIM uniform. Because of the complex design of this suit, it has been drawn differently by various artists. 
  • Why you need it for your collection?:
    • This is one figure you will need to your AIM collection, either as a single character shown here or as a commander for AIM. He is also needed a Secret, New and US Avengers rogue gallery or for someone to stand alongside MODOK (even though they are considered enemy).
  • Does it need a remake?:
    • No.
