He is the evil Scarlet Spider. Introduced in Amazing Scarlet Spider #1 (1995) by Tom DeFalco, Mike Lackey and Mark Bagley, Joe Wade was an undercover FBI agent, sent to investigate Lady Octopus when he was found out and force into virtual reality graft. He was turned into a hard light replica of Scarlet Spider (Reilly) in order to discredit the hero. He went on a rampage until the device was destroyed by Scarlet Spider, but the resulting explosion resulted in the device being grafted to his skin becoming a mechanized Scarlet Spider. He went on another rampage, and it took the combined might of the New Warriors and Ben Reilly, now Spider-man. Wade was taken into FBI custody and his fate is currently unknown.

While we haven’t gotten a proper silver Joe Wade (though Toybiz did release a 5inch version), since he was using Reilly’s Scarlet Spider costume to commit crimes, you can use it as this.

Background:
- After being discovered by Lady Octopus, he was forced into a virtual reality device that created a hard light version of Scarlet Spider and used this form to discredit the hero. He would later return he would be seen in this costume again before changing into the silver version.
