The true leader of the Winter Guard. Introduced in Avengers (Vol. 8) #10 (2018) by Jason Aaron and David Marquez, the woman who would become the Red Widow, was originally a street urchin that was taken in and trained by the Red Room, the same program that trained Natasha Romanov and Yelena Belova. However, her training was much more intense, causing her to gain intense scarring and having her arm replaced with a bionic one. When the Winter Guard was reformed, she was placed on the team and despite the Crimson Dynamo being the leader, she was the one who called the shots.

She would later interrogate Dracula after he turned himself into Russia authorities but was later attacked by the Legion of the Unliving. She was the last one standing until the Avengers interfered. She was later chosen by the Phoenix to take part in the contest to be its next host and managed to last till the end until the Phoenix chose Echo to be its host. She was later seen recruiting Power Princess and Blur to work with her.

Red Widow is a fairly new character, but she has her fans. She would receive a figure as part of a yet to be announced set.
